Do you feel-like-a-loser OR losing-your-mind-kind of a person while you are waiting or are you savoring the wait?

Some might call waiting the virtue of patience. I can't say I'm always a fan of waiting for what I want. But, I have along the way definitely learned to harness the waiting periods in a new way.

Many times we can find ourselves in an inactive waiting mode. And that kind of waiting is self-torture. It's a surer way for you to get stuck, to slip into complaining, and to let your creativity get sloppy. You start to put things on hold. And you also start spending a lot of time in One day, Some Day town. While you're there you see things around you as, "not quite what I am waiting for." And then you get into the New-Age sponsored self-down talk, "Why aren't I manifesting what I want?"

So, how can you shift from inactive waiting to active waiting?

Start regarding the waiting period as an opportunity. Use this extra time to get in better shape, clean out your closet, take up or complete that course you have always been wanting to do, learn that new skill, get your finances in order, so when more prosperity comes, it's put to best use.

Make space in your life for the inevitable arrival of what you have been manifesting.

Waiting time is a great self-love assignment. Of course the romance will fill a space in your life, and hopefully the career win or your dream project coming to life is going to be fulfilling. But without those future things, you're still AMAZING now. You're good and beautiful today. And when you tap that self assuredness, that dignity and self worth, you're more likely to manifest what you desire for your future because you're manifesting it today.

Take comfort in the fact that you've done all that you can do. This is a gratifying place to be in. You've put in your time, you’ve pulled all the strings you can reach. You’ve lined up your ducks, planted your seeds. Nothing to do now but… wait. You’ve shown up. You’ve met the universe halfway. Amazing work. And now just focus on today.

Distract yourself with presence, and you can see what you want on the horizon, and you look at your life today and say, "There is so much right here that I've been waiting for." Both are true.

So, are you ready to live in "In The Now" town?
